Happy Valentine's Day from The Imperial Florists!
A day late, but minor catastrophes abound when you're in my job. My fellow neck beards...
Valentine's Day is typically a day of sadness, regret, and far too much junk food. Indeed, I remember a time where I ate an entire Valentine's Day pizza set for two on my own, tears of loneliness garnishing my pepperoni and mozzarella shame. But if you have shared in such disgrace, there is hope, and I speak to you now as someone who finally rolled that natural 20 on his Relationship check!
Stay strong and keep on rolling!
For my darling wife, who somehow manages to still put up with me and my plastic soldiers, and a full year of wasting yet more time writing about plastic soldiers, I have created another flower holder. This time, a Reiver of Love, from the Imperial Florists (who base themselves in the Imperial Palace making sure the place looks fresh).
This time I was able to use Screamer Pink, with a pin wash of Carrabourg Crimsom. Highlighted with Daemionette hide, Bugman's glow and Ulthuan Grey, this presents a more sombre, yet powerful expression of love, on what turned out to be a drizzly day.
Remember, my dear fellows still on their quest of the heart, you may not have the wallet, and you may not have the car. You may not have the abs that can bend steal, and your hair may not smell like perfumed roses. But you, yes you, have pots of paint, a bitz box that is the envy of God, and the dedication to create a unique artefact of your devotion, unmatched amongst the gifts to the one you are devoted to!
Click here for last year's model... which I'm sad to say was better.
Thanks for reading.
