Warhammer 40K, Photo: Spying on the Lunar Wolves



Ok, so not really, but I had the telescope out in my classroom and couldn't resist a picture.

Any of you who are budding astronomers, you can get a really good start with just a cheapy telescope and a mobile phone camera. This one was taken without any other equipment, but a simple stand/tripod would give you a better picture.

And now's the best time to do it. There will be a super-moon event tomorrow night, so we're going to get a nice big moon. It's basically where there orbital tracks of the Earth and Moon are as close as they get (since the orbits are not perfect), and the next one won't be along until the 2030s. If you're as old as me, this is probably the last chance you'll get!

Also, if you look closely, you can see the Lunar Labs where the gene-tech for creating Primarchs was researched. Really, it's there! If you don't believe me get your own telescope and check for yourself*!

These are all based around the Primaris Space Marines, so expect your current Marines to fade away. Love them or hate them, you're not building an effective army without them. Your rank and file are the soul and centre of your army, and as such, these will be the only one's I will discuss in detail in the Beginner Guide... otherwise we'll be here until The End Times.
