Tabletop Teacher

With the Space Marine Codex now in my hands, I can do a proper analysis of the units within. Whilst I'd like to do the whole codex, I can only really go with the ones I have... and since I'm certain nearly everyone has them, I'm going to start with the Intercessors (a.k.a. Primaris Legion Squad). As a caveat here, this is simply advice. The first and most important rule is "Have Fun", and the second is "Play Your Dudes(TM)". This is just to give you a heads up on any challenges you may face, or tricks you can pull with the units you want. It's just past midnight here in the UK, and despite some drying texture paint, the Mu'gulath Bay Avengers are complete! Avengers assemble! An unknown Shas'vre is the de facto Fire caste leader of this group The Ethereal's staff shows the blue of Mu'gulath bay surrounded by fiery orange... a dark reminder of their vengeance The survivors of Mu'gulath Bay... once the most optimistic of T'au, now changed by their world's destruction Once a colony world, the sept still displays the ochre of the T'au homeworld  Embittered by the Imperium's Exterminatus, they travel to Konor... on which side will they fight? Okay they're certainly not Golden Demon quality, but I'm really pleased with how the army turned out. That blue colour is gorgeous! I'm really going to need to sort out the small buts of detail, but they should be good enough for table top. Okay, tired now. Off to bed... for tomorrow we fight! Unti

As of 12pm today the undercoating for the miniatures was done. I've just started getting colours on the T'au, and hope to have everything done by the end of today. Until later today! I'm going to have to be quick with this, as it looks like I've got a fairly hard dead line to meet. Here are my new acquisitions: All the paints and models for this weeks project! The models are new, but all the paints and brushes are my own, collecting from nearly a year of dabbling in various colour schemes. I need to start construction now though, as the battle starts this Saturday! Match this Saturday!! If the Mu'Gulath Bay septians want to get their revenge, they're going to need to be painted up to tabletop standard by the weekend! Before I get going on that though, Games Workshop has a progress card for you to collect and work through on the campaign.
